To prevent tracking, be sure to select the correct untrackable litter for the depth. Best litter for a 2" depth will be fine-grain litter and coarser litter will do better at a depth of 3". This will be complemented by also using *thick, high-quality mats* that extend out from the litter box by at least 3'. This will catch the displaced litter, keeping your floors cleaner.
